Re: Another Salt Question

Only if you suffer from high blood pressure is there ever a reason to limit salt, but never ever is there a reason to totally avoid it.

You need to avoid refined table salt , especially if its been fortified with iodine. This makes it very acidic on the body rather than alkaline like it should.

Celtic Sea Salt is wonderful to eat and cook with, it tastes fantastic. It helps to put it in a salt mill as it tends to come in very large crystals and won't always dissolve the way I like it to, especially when baking. :) I don't have a mill yet so I use table salt when baking oops my bad LOL!

Salt has gotten a very bad rep and it's just a total myth. We'd die or seizure from a lack of salt faster than anything else.
