the Chinese Herbal tinctures & water

Hi Shelley,

(my previous message about this *disappeared* in transmission,. In case it should reappear, that is why I've repeated it.)

1) Little confused here. Julia Chang's paper instructions say to keep Chinese Bitters from getting diluted, so there's a big space before and after for not drinking water. Yet, the instructions on the bottle say to "take with a small amount of water". This is confusing. Which should it be?

2) The bedtime herbs:Curcuma and Coptis, can I have water with and all around these? I count on being able to sip water at night. The instructions don't say anything about it -- except take on an empty stomach, which I assume to mean take after dinner is well digested. I *didn't* drink water last night and was *so* thirsty and woke up with ugly bags under my eyes. Help, please!

3) Same Q regarding GCG. Can I have water with it or near it?

Thank you very much.
