I would have to say they're good, for men or women. I still worry about estrogenic herbs, however, because they have more powerful actions on hormones and I have a healthy respect for hormones having a wonky thyroid and all. :)
I just feel so much more balanced when I'm on a veggie juice diet. I can eat junk, skip a meal, and for the most part, I'm okay. When I leave off the veggies, disaster starts. I get episodes of insta-fatigue with shaking hands even, moodiness, cravings. NOT fun.
I have to do far less work to maintain vitality when I'm drinking juice, too. :) that low-carb diet craze making the rounds now really burns me when they put down carrots as bad. Sigh!
