Re: Fibre Maintenance

Hey I have subway for lunch too! But I manage to avoid the chips so far. ;) Now that they have wraps instead of that awful bread Subway is actually a healthy thing to do. I get veggie wraps, turkey and tuna with honey mustard - yum! :)

You definitely need more fiber. Consider eating hot cereal for dinner for when you don't go out to eat. Only takes 5-10 minutes to fix and it's sooo comforting. :) Really helps with the cravings.

Also take psyllium, perhaps in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. P&B shakes are always great for fiber and keeping the colon clean and healthy, a constant battle!

Since you like cookies, consider getting a food dehydrator and making your own sesame seed/raisen cookies. These are wonderful for protein, energy, iron and bulk fiber! Just mush them up good in the blender on low, shape into cookies and dehydrate for a day.

Also good are the nut and fruit bars available at the health food stores now, such as Govinda. My store has hazelnut, and one with ginger! :)

Solaray Spectro should be at any good health food store. :)

The veggie juice and barley juice is part of your daily water oz requirement. :)

Hope that helps!
