You have given me so many pointers to help me on my way in terms of colon cleansing (which is still in progress).
I too found drinking enough water a challenge but this is what I did to ensure I was getting enough. So, maybe this will work for you and I can return a few favours.
Before each meal I drink a glass of water. Then drink another one during the meal. Then another right after the meal. This gives me around 30
ounces of water per meal which, based on my weight, is plenty of intake for the day.
One benefit is I find I don't overeat during a meal and the glass after the meal makes me full enough to pass on dessert or the need for something else after dinner (most times...:)).
Another benefit is that the water before, during and after seems to help with digestion.
This worked for me to make sure I get the water I need.
