hehehehe! Yep, beans and rice, can't go wrong. And mung beans are SO much better than kidney or split peas or even lentils! if people only knew!!! I'm thinking of experimenting with a cajun type meal and using mung instead of red beans. Sacrilege I know but it may work out. :)
I must confess I use theh microwave all the time. For busy people sometimes you just have to cut your losses. They may ruin food they may not, I'm not convinced either way, and if anyone would like to educate me please do so - but in the health and fact debate forum so we get both sides. ;) I've kept my pot of Kichadi in the fridge up to 3 days and reheated individual bowels in the micro as needed.
