Re: having all teeth extracted and i am "terrified"

Hi

What was the outcome of your visit to your dentist. Did you get all your teeth extracted and fitted for dentures? If so, how have you adapted.

At the moment I am without dentures after having them knocked to smithereens in a hockey match last week. I'm in the process of getting a new set made, but for the moment am pretty much toothless. Strange to be gumming my food again and having to face the jibes of people on being toothless. But it's only temporary and I should have my falsies by the end of this week or early next week.

All in all I don't regret having gotten dentures and function well with them. A lot better than I did with my own teeth that made it very difficult to eat. I was in constant pain and was just really relieved when they were all extracted.

Do write and let us know how you're doing.
Cheers
Charms
