Re: Stomach inflates when hungry?

Yep! Stomach. :) The longer you go hungry, the more the stomach produces hormones and such to signal that you are hungry, and prepares for food. This combination gets skewed when your PH balance is constantly off and there isn't enough base to counteract the acid. Weak systems/organs work harder.

It can also be a clue that there is something going on mentally/emotionally, a fear of lack, not getting enough, a negative association with hunger that your mind has due to something significant happening in your past that adds to the stress.

So it's very important for you to follow a good protocal for increasing digestive power. Have you seen my notes? Ginger tea, things that are vinegared/pickled (umeboshi, kim chee, ginger, etc.), lemon juice, and pancreatic enzymes with each meal especially are good for you, as is eating *small* meals every 4 hours. That handles the digestion problem.

To handle the acid/alkaline problem, you need to eat more veggies. Since you have stomach issues, the best way would be to drink fresh veggie juices. Can you manage that? There's really no substitute for veggies! Taking supplements can help, but most minerals just are not that absorbable. CalMagFizz is a good one to take.

Hope that helps! :)
