Re: Kichadi Stew etc.

Hi Lisa! :) So glad you enjoyed the Kichadi stew. I really must make another batch - I made some two weeks ago and whew, used too much ginger LOL! Talk about warming!!! ;)

Healing was very gradual. The candida itself got into balance after my 3 month anti-candida diet of no sweets no dairy, but the residual effects due to liver congestion and leaky gut took much longer to abate. It was ages before I got my energy back. I think addressing dietary deficiencies such as essential fatty acids, lecithin, and minerals, was crucial to feeling more energetic.

Low basal temp can be thyroid, not just adrenal, which would indicate that your overworked liver is stressing your glands overall. Your other symptoms of visual disturbances is also liver, so really concentrate on liver and keeping the colon clean, as it is the main path of elimination for the liver.

Anti-fungals mix up all your microbes, even good ones. I don't recommend anyone taking them for more than 2-4 weeks. After that, rely on diet and supplementing with the good ones to help you feel better.

I believe I just posted a whole list of things to do for the adrenals further down on this page? See if any of those suggestions resonate with you.

Good to hear from you - keep on keepin' on and one day you'll realize that you feel just fine! :)
