Kichadi Stew etc.
Shelley,
Thank you for the Kichadi stew recipe I made it yesterday and it is delicious. I appreciate so much that you take the time to answer peoples questions. I find your information to be so worthwhile and informative.
I am doing reallly pretty well over all though I still have the imbalance in my gut which I continue to work on. Though I have to say most of my symptoms are gone except for irregular periods, floaters in my vision and occasional fatigue which I believe is related to my adrenals as I take my basal temp everyday and when it goes low for a bit I notice that I am a lot more tired.
In fact what I notice is that when I go heavy on antifungals my stomach gets more gassy and a bit sore and my temperature does drop a bit. Do you think that this is "die off" or just related to the fact that the anti-fungals are just hard on the system somewhat?
Also did you notice a gradual improvement in your candida problems or did you just wake up one day and know it was gone?? I do realize that some will be gradual because of course that is what happened to me in regard to many of my symptoms and I had many to begin with but, this last stretch seems to continue on with not much improvement. I know I will always have to watch my diet forever but I would just like to get to the point where my body is in balance and I do not have to watch every single thing I put in my mouth.
If you have any advice to share let me know. I pretty much follow all your suggestions regarding diet for optimal digestion/ colon cleansing and liver cleansing. I take primal defense as well and do some of the things that Jordan Rubin recommends in his book.
Thanks for your input.
Lisa
