I honestly don’t know what the microscopy will reveal, if anything at all. For starters, I want to look at some of the skin that has peeled away (including some of the skin that I occasionally remove to make the area resemble something normal, which might still be alive—hard to tell). It will definitely take some research to be able to interpret the images (might have to ask some friends who are in the medical field and you guys for help). At the very least, I should be able to take some pictures and then pass’em along to people who could probably do a better job of interpreting. The efforts might be completely wasted, but it can’t hurt to at least investigate. It might be fun to learn about this stuff too.
