Possible solution

Hello everyone,
Well this is my first time posting something on here, but I've been reading for awhile. I've had this lip peeling problem fiasco for about 8 months, and I guess like most of you it just appeared out of nowhere. And along the way have had my share of stress and self consciousness, still do, from it. It's odd the way its progressed though. It used to be that I'd go through a cycle of about a week where the bottom half and middle of the top of my lips would enflame, then get gunky and wash away on day 6, and then a day of normalcy. Then it went to just getting really crusty and hard, and would have to peel hard every night just to get some peace. I did some travelling to Japan, and to my surprise found that I had no problems at all, really weird that. I think humidity played a big part in it, and the diet of fish and rice. And maybe drinking alcohol too? Who knows about that last one, but it seems like my lips are always a bit better the day after going out drinking. But anywho now I can get by with some level of comfort, they're soft, I use Blistex Complete Moisture frequently throughout the day, and just wash away gently with some warm water the skin that starts to get a tad white after drinking or eating. But it allows me to hang out with friends without being super self conscious.
Anyways now to my bit of info that may be helpful. I've been doing Dr. Hulda Clark s Liver Flush(google it) for the past few months, and have noticed a bit of improvement, but really it only helps unclog your gall bladder, and thats not the main issue here. I went to see a homeopath who has a phd in Reflexology, which means he looks for symptoms in our skin, eyes, scalp, and appendages for clues on how are internal system is functioning. Our spleen and liver are very much connected to our lips, and if your digestive system isn't working like it should, it can manifest itself in your lips. Chinese medicine, which has been around for thousands of years, confirms this; a healthy spleen equals rosy moist lips.
This condition to me I believe is very much a reflection on what is going on inside our body. To treat it effectively you need to go to the root cause of the problem, if you only topically treat your lips, you help it short term, but for permanent relief you need to go to what fuels your lips, and a big part of that is our digestive system. And you need healthy organs that can digest and absorb essential nutrients that in turn allow for healthy lips.
So let me get to what might be a solution. Since it doesn't seem like we have all the same condition I can't guarantee it will work for you, but it is definitely an option worth exploring. I'm about to begin a regimen of taking 6 different vitamin, or nutrients, the names I won't bother listing because you would need to see a homeopath to prescribe them to you, over a period of 7 weeks. As well I'll be changing my diet and start eating foods that are better metabolised by the liver, i.e. not eating junk food or red meat or a lot of dairy. He says this can help, and I guess I'll find out in a month and a bit. Wish me luck.
I'll give updates on my progress. But honestly I highly recommend seeing a homeopath or naturopath because I strongly believe that these lip problems are internally related. I'm lucky that I have a world class homeopath in my area, but if you don't, I'll let you know what the vitamin/nutrients are and see if that sort of regimen could help you. But what a homeopath does is analyse what perticular organs need the most attention, for me it was my liver and pretty much every other organ except my gallbladder. Anyways I hope this is of some help or will turn out to be.
