The two products are exactly the same. The packaging is different, so it's a matter if you want a tube or a tin. This product didn't work for me though. What did was calendula ointment which you can buy at any natural foods store. I used it for about 3 months several times a day and right before bed. My cheilitis went away, and now I use shea butter to maintain my lips. I only first learned of shea butter or I would have been using all along with the calendula. Shea butter heals chapped lips better than anything else, so I would use that along with the calendula. Good luck.
A good place to get shea butter at a resonanble price is at http://www.karitegold.com
I use the unscented on my lips. They also make a great lip balm which is in a tube great for your pocket or purse. It is mixed with other ingredients and it is the best lip balm that I've ever used. Their shea butter in a jar is straight shea butter. What I do is put it on straight from the jar but I carry the lip balm in my purse to use when I'm out of the house. So I suggest using the calendula ointment and the shea butter intermittently throughout the day and night. Let me know if you have results from these products. It cured me.
