I tried this i left the skin on for around a week but taking it off is a real problem, I ake it off with my fingers andit just bleeds, its attached to the lip like super glue. So i went in the shower and it came off but leaving a really shiney smooth texture that wrinkled not long after.I dont know how you do it but for me this feels counterproductive.
