I can tell you how it feels for me. For me it is not so much as a tingling, it is more of a dull pain or an ache, in quite a small area, say about the size of a watch face and it come and goes. It can almost be like a throbbing sensation at times. It is kind of hard to expalin. I have that feeling for about one day and then the next day it is itchy and the blister will appear in that spot.
