Well, first of all, Razor's friend's incident was something that was perhaps bourne out of deceit. The guy didn't tell her until she became infected. However, perhaps he didn't even know he had it? Remember, there are 2 sides to every story, and we only know ONE angry side, which isn't even the real side of either party.

In my experience (of course I'm older, and I like to think I'm more mature) people just don't react like that when I tell them about it. However, knowing I have it, I DO NOT screw around and then just wait to see if it manifests itself or not in my lover. That's like playing russian roulette w/someone's mind. People need to become educated about these things, otherwise they just freak out. Knowledge is a great thing, and ignorance is a characteristic that produces some very negative behaviors, ie: hate.

I would definitely go see a counselor about it. This is definitely something you need to work through. Perhaps your local Planned Parenthood offers some free counseling. Check it out--good luck. Tweet
