Re: Fasting dog for cancer?

I think there is a huge difference in setting the broken leg of an animal and attempting to restrict its food intake against its will. I don't believe we should never intervene on a pet's behalf-- but I do think that it can be taken too far. Since Villain has already made up his or her mind on the issue, I am not sure why he asked for any opinions. I usually try to respect others' views, but when it comes to cruelty to animals, I am incapable of any understanding. I am ending my posts here, since it will do no good to try to change Villain's mind. Rest assured, however, that if I ever heard a neighbor was only feeding her dog juice in hopes that it would somehow cure its cancer (an incomplete study even in humans), I would be on the phone with the police in a half-second.
