Well, I wouldn't be sniffing the stuff or anything, but if you breathe in a little during or after application, I don't think it could hurt you.
Also, I like bare minerals, but it made my face itch, so I stopped using it for about a year. Then I read about 'bismuth oxychloride,' which is used in bare minerals and Sheer Cover to give the minerals a creamy texture. I guess some people ar allergic to it (including me) and if you have that problem, just look for a mineral make-up that's bismuth-free. I use Sheer Miracle, available on ebay or at http://www.sheermiracle.com, but there are some other ones out there that are bismuth-free.
