Yes glandular support is the key for a lot of us and definitely in my case. Mercury is so hard on the glands. I have an appt with a doc in a few weeks. She seems fairly clued up in adrenal issues so may get some saliva testing done with her.
I seem to be sensitive to
Iodine too and get very odd thyroid related symptoms. You may have read them already but posts #98095 and #97013 (in the yahoo thyroid group) are interesting.
Iodine sensitivitiy can be related to autoimmune attack which presumably chelation will resolve.
Yes I can't believe people can tolerate such high doses of ALA or DMSA!! The amounts that some people take would do me in. Maybe once on optimal glandular support, tolerating higher doses will be easier.
