Re: Some Advice... Please!!

Hi Moonie,

I'm in the UK but at a different stage to you in terms of mercury detox. I had my Amalgams removed 5 yrs ago and now going through the process of chelation using Andy Cutler's protocol (www.noamalgam.com). I recommend you get his book Amalgam Illness. I think it's going to take at a year at the bare minimum to fully detox so can't give you a testimonial yet! I have "chronic fatigue syndrome" btw.

You must take supplements to help guard against potential toxic effects of mercury released during Amalgam removal (antioxidants like vit C(esp), vit E, vit A (though can be a problem for some people), selenium, essential fatty acids (omega 3 fish oils) B vits, mins esp zinc, magnesium). Liver support (eg milk thistle), adrenal and thyroid support. Charcoal maybe useful too.

I would suggest you get a hair analysis done through either....

They use Doctors Data in the US which is the lab most recommended for assessing mineral and toxic metal status.

OR Mineral Check (01622 630044) who send off to Trace Elements Inc in the US.

Use the groups below to help interpret the results. There may be people on these lists at the same stage as you.
