I am a photographer and I am just posting this to try to help a little. I see a lot of pictures on here that arent in focus and I think it would be a great help to be able to see what is in the picture.
Every camera has a min and max focusing distance, have a look at your manual and find out what is the closest to an object you can be-- if you a closer you will never be in focus. Even if you feel its not close enough dont worry as long as its focused you can zoom in after and crop it.
Also try using the mountain or scenic setting it will give you the most in focus as well. the other settings are designed to blur out the back ground etc....
Just trying to help out a little so that we can really see what this crap is (hahah no pun intended!)
