did you mean tapioca? then it all depends on how it's made and what's it made from. If the tapioca comes from a box with a lot of bad ingredients such as corn syrup and is not organic then it is not healthy. However, if you were to make your own tapioca from scratch using organic indredients without any additives than it would not be so unhealthy. it sounds like your not quite sure what would be a healthy thing to eat yet you are very concerned with eating the right things. and since your mom seems like the one making your food if you want to be on a healthy Diet your going to need to ask her to shop at health foods stores for you or do it yourself. if your mom will be the one making your food you need to explain to her the kinds of foods you want to eat and what is unhealthy and you won't eat. walking into a health food store starts a whole jouney of discovery into the wonderful world of good, wholesome, and healthy foods so if you haven't now the time. you need to learn what kind of ingredients are bad and check the labels.
