Why no liver flush on full moon?

Extenuating circumstances prevented us from doing our first Liver Flush this last weekend. I see by reading other's posts that this might not have been such a bad thing, according to Andreas Moritz . Why? Also which of his books is a good introduction to his philosophy? Am planning flush according to Clark's protocal. Does it differ from Andreas'?
