There usually is a biological reason for a lot of what we experience in the body, but sometimes our visual perception can be influenced by pschological or 'attitudinal' experiences of the past (since it happened since age 11, bad memories/disappointments of childhood?). I grew up with a dysfunctional (the name doesn't do it justice) family and a resulting identity crisis. It may not sound serious until you understand that I was simply existing and didn't understand that I was actually supposed to LIVE life (ENJOY it and 'BE' alive). People always said that I was "withdrawn". I was in a 'daze' into my 50's and tended to percieve life as none of my concern. You might recognize something of what I said as being relevant to your life. Micropsia doesn't seem to be well defined, therefore, that name can be applied to any theory from epilepsy to visual or drug problem known, but you know best. You might be SUBCONSCIOUSLY convincing yourself that you are sick (psychosamatic illness), when all we need is for someone other than ourselves to acknowledge and care that we are alive.
