I've lived without a microwave for 6 years now and it's no big deal. I use pots and pans, a toaster oven, a regular oven and so between the stovetop and the oven that's easy enough to heat my food. I bought a hot-air popcorn popper for those rare occasions that I want popcorn. About 2 or 3 times a year I end up eating something I KNOW was microwaved and can't avoid (at someone's house) - and I feel so paranoid and uneasy I can't even enjoy the "food."
