Asparagus therapy cure cancer?

Dear all,

Is there any one heard of the Asparagus therapy? I was told by a friend that a woman here in Hong Kong who got Ovarian Cancer got remission after taking this therapy. The doctor told her that she couldn't had surgery or chemo so she tried the Asparagus therapy. After a few months, her tumor disappeared.

The Asparagus therapy is also common in China after the Cancer News Journal, December 1979 was translated in Chinese Language. Some terminal cancer patients try it and find their tumors disappear. However, I can't any statistical evidence proof of this therapy. Could anyone tell me more about this therapy?
