Well. Seems that you have liver and possibly thyroid problems. So I could see why fats could cause you problems.
But honestly, fats in general aren't the "bad guy." Good fats do so many great things! Among other things, they help us absorb vitamins and minerals.
I'm of the persuasion that free radical damage and protein damage brought on by refined carbohydrates and excessive protein/acid are the reason that the body releases the protective antioxidant cholesterol to seal off the damage, and then there is all of that calcium circulating, pulled from the bones due to the acid diet.
You're right, high fat isn't for everyone. Good fats and yes cholesterol are my friends. Pass the butter and the avocado, please. Keep the cookies, the bagel and the french fry away from me, please!
(Here's another good example. If you like french fries, roast thin potato or sweet potato strips tossed in plenty of olive oil. Salt. Enjoy. YUM)
