Apparently the caffiene in green tea is absorbed by the body in a different way than from other forms such as coffee. Couldn't find much info on that, but the first link is from Andreas' forum:

Most stuff I found just says the benefits outweight the caffiene. Definitely not supposed to drink decaffienated tea or coffee.

Rooibos is supposed to have 50x the antioxidants of Green Tea. But I don't know that it's comparable in other ways.
