scald, skin burn

hello! I have unfortunately burnt my arm with boiling water about a week ago. I have since been in treatment every day at the hospital but apparently there's not much, that can be done at this time. I have 2nd degree burns and for now, all i do is wash the wound (sterile), apply silver cream and bandages. I also take 2000 mg Vit C daily and about 1000 Vit E plus a multivitamin for healthy skin. Haven't taken any of the Antibiotics the doctors gave me and I am fine.
My question ist..is there anything i can do to speed up the healing. The wounds are still open but i feel they are getting better by the day. Doctors said the wound may take another 3 weeks to heal.Pls advise, thanks!
