Re: Epsom Flush: How often can I do it?

If you are referring to Epsom Salt water, and not the salt water flush, it is usually done in combination with other things as in the liver flush.

Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) when taken internally is a dilator (and also a calcium channel blocker which can help people suffering from migraines) which dilates or expands tissue. for this reason it has been used (usually in conjunction with other drugs) to induce labor during pregnancy.

The main use I have found here at curezone is part of the liver cleanse, which is AMAZING! You can find tons of info on the liver cleanse here and as variety of recipes and suggestions but it essentially works like this:

begin 1/2 day fast (for instance, don't eat after 2:00 pm)
drink Epsom Salt several hours later
repeat, 2 hours later usually.
drink a mixture of olive oil and grapefruit juice before bed
epsom salt in the morning
repeat 2 hours later

the dilation properties of the epsom salt causes the bilary tubing of the liver to expand, freeing up all sorts of nasties which have been trapped there for a long time (since childhood?)
Then, the oil flushes all these nasties out of the system and is released as diarrheatic stool during the day following the celanse.

This works great and can help a variey of ailments. I personally have undergone this cleanse with amazing health benfits. It is also quite profound to witness all off the stones which have been trapped in your liver. They are pea green, the color of bile, and are numerous (and float). I highly recommend it!

As far as the salt water flush, I have mostly seen it referenced as a supplement to the 'master cleanse'. While your body is already fasting with your intestines free of material, you drink a mixture of salt water which flushes through your entire intestinal tract and comes out via the number 2 exit route. It is a way to rinse out the intestines and colon if you will, but will not necesarily loosen and remove impacted fecal matter some say.

Works great during The Master Cleanse though!

Hope this helps,

brian
