The point is that's very important for breatharians to be barefoot as much as possible to get alternative energy from Earth... ADVERTISEMENT Cultural Anthropology wise: it has been reported that in Australia the Arunta people - when needing to discuss "important" issues in a conversation sit on the ground. This can be looked at via the chakra subtle energy system - as placing the root chakra directly on the ground - Mother Earth rather than using a chair - which Marshall McLuhan - the Canadian wizard of UNDERSTANDING MEDIA: THE EXTENSIONS OF MAN (Kind) would say that the chair is an extension of the squat - which is still not sitting directly on the earth's surface. Also when considering the chakra energy system - there are minor chakras in the sole's of the feet. Thus when walking barefoot - there is no shoe that acts as a lens or filter for the sole's of the foot minor chakra to perform an intake of energy radiating from the surface of the earth. Also there are minor chakra's in the palms of one's hands that can take in the prana from the sun or be used in healing or whatever. In addition there are minor chakras in the knees and elbows that take in energy as well as broadcast this energy. Temperature wise - and Cultural Anthropology wise - it has been reported that during the World War II experience at the location of Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia - the southern most tip of the continent of South America - the natives of this land wore loin cloths in extreme low temperatures while American military men were laden with clothes as well as jumping up and down to keep warm. Also I have read in the book BONE GAMES - of accounts of people in Asia - perhaps Tibet? (since I read this book over 15 years ago I don't remember exactly where.) These people as initiates had to be able to put frozen cloth sheets on their naked bodies and melt them from the heat of prana circulating in their bodies. My point being that - it would appear that prana circulation is a key to getting off of all food intake. Ergo - once you have mastered "prana circulation" the average temperature of where you live on this planet Earth/Gaia no longer becomes a key factor. Beyond this is practicing "prana circulation" on a daily basis within a group (the group practice is synergy in motion and accelerates the learning of prana circulation methods) - preferably within a living group - that reinforces your group goal of getting off of all food in-take. Probably "practicing prana circulation" within a group that you also meditate ith would be the optimum scenario here.
