From what I understand from my Dr/naturopath it depends on whether it has made it's way to your small intestines or not. According to him it is much more difficult for medications to make it there because your large intestines use them up first. I was actually taking the Omega Zyme before I even knew I had the arabinose and it apparently was not strong enough for me. However I only took one bottle and any treatment he said would need 3 months to work. So I didn't really give them a fair shot.

Arabinose is actually a by-product of yeast (it is created by a yeast imbalance like Candida, etc.) The lab report classifed it as a fungus/yeast.
