I am a 31 year old male and live a rather active lifestyle. My overall health has been good. To begin with where my paranoia came from: I was at the gym and I met a gentleman whole told me about his dreadful battle with cancer. I was curious and listened to his story. He told me it all started with a lingering cold that never seemed to go away. He felt fatigued all the time and went to several specialists until he found a docter that did a test and found out that he had a tumor in his lymph node under his upper jaw area. It turned out to be malignant and was spreading. He went through years of chemotherapy and finally put the cancer to a halt.
This story is in my head because I have been experiencing simular symptoms. I don't know what I have but daily I have a post nasal drip that runs the back of my throat raw. It has been giving me more stress as well as fatigue. Constantly swalling and spitting out mucous. My problem is that I have seen ear nose trought specialist and they tell me it is rinitis or allergies. It sometimes even feels like it is a cold that is always present. I had recently done blood tests and a normal check up. Everything looked great. I never asked any questions just thought with the treatments I was given for the allergies would go away. Well it has been a year since the symptoms began and I am really annoid by the postnasal drip. The big question for the experts of cancer of all sorts: Can postnasal Drip be a sign of a sort of cancer and would the blood tests that I took show any red flags. I been in fear of cancer and never have gone through this type of suffering for this long.
Thanks to all that can help me with this stress of mine.
