Re: colon cancer--please help

Personally, I would not use macrobiotics. I almost did when I was first diagnosed, because it is the name most often mentioned by others (including doctors). MB does not allow foods such as tomatos that have proven anti-cancer benefit (lycopene), because they are not part of the traditional eastern vegetarian diet. Your brother needs to maximize on fresh local produce, raw or lightly cooked. As he has colon issues, enemas will be essential. I recomend both coffee and hydrogen peroxide.

But, more important, your brother should avoid the temptation to gravitate to any particular healing plan too quickly. Start a healthy diet, and spend a few weeks doing some research. HE needs to make a well-informed decision, and stick with it.

I recomend two books for him to read: "The Cancer Battle Plan" and "Antioxidants Against Cancer". Both are easy reads, and do not over-inundate with information. An excellent start. You can get them on Amazon.
