Do Wisdom teeth cause problems?
I am a 31 yr old male who has never had a cavity. I don't do anything exceptional when it comes to dental care, I have just never done whatever it takes to get one I guess. As children I don't think we ever knew soda or candy existed until we were 8 or 9... my parents just never bought it for us.
Anyway, my baby teeth were always slow to fall out, my last eye tooth came out when I was 18 and they had to pull it because it was pushing the adult tooth out of place as it came down. My teeth have since straightened out quite well on their own.
The conincides with the lower/right wisdom tooth being 1/2 way pushed through for the last 10 years, the lower/left is thinking about pushing through, and the upper two are just somewhere up there - no way there is enough room for them to come down.
My dentist has many years of experience and is known as one of the best cosmetic dentists in the area... equipped for all the latest techniques and materials. His advice over the last 10 years has been to leave them alone and they will eventually come in.
My main question is... do these teeth tend to give other health problems? I have been fighting with sciatic/pelvic/lower back probs for the last 10-12 years as well and I have always wondered if there was a connection.
