IMHO
it is the L. Sporenges in this product that does the lion's share of the work. There are other products that include L. Sporenges. Another great friendly bacteria that is getting superior results in many people is Latero-Sporus which is the active agent in Flora-Balance powder.
Another way to get L. Sporenges is in a great 16 synergystic blend of probiotics called Flora Source. It is available in some health stores or on the internet. One internet supplier is notdoctors.com, infact the have both of the above mentioned products.
