If you will read my post again you will see that I stated that a holistic, multiphase approach is necessary for addressing systemic candidiasis. You are correct that anti-fungals do not address the cause of this condition, but they are beneficial when implemented as part of the program. I also disagree with your statement that colon cleansing does nothing for Candida. Eliminating toxins is a necessary component of restoring health so that the body can heal and rebuild itself. Colon cleansing is the first line of defense with any detoxification program, and additional cleansing of the liver, kidneys, skin, lungs, lymph and blood are also indicated. Any condition can benefit from detoxification...including Candida.

'Long' is a relative term. As I takes as long as it takes, and the length of time necessary to address this condition differs for everyone.
