Re: Something strange ...
I've tried the grain approach to candida and it didn't work for me. All I was doing was feeding the candida.
> If you prepare them properly and chew well they will not feed candida. I could be totally wrong
Unfortunately candida love grains.
> ie if cooked till soft, they won't provide much fibre for the good microbes to feed on so your bowel will remain toxic
This bit sounds interesting, because I do cook them until soft. But I think you are wrong about not providing fibre as I usually have plenty of stools.
In any case I supplement with other fibres - flax & psyllium.
Also as far as complex carbs are concerned I eat casava with my veggies, so whilst I don't overload on carbs I do get a reasonable amount.
>The good bacteria need food to live and your bowel needs to be hydrated....I don't how big a person you are but it doesn't sound you eat enough for them to survive.
I'm eating plenty - believe me. I'm not a big person by any means - 136
lbs. I eat to my digestion limit everyday. In terms of quantity I physically could not eat any more.
Millet is a really bad suggestion. It was without doubt the worst food I ever ate for my candida. Turned to pure alcohol.
Don't take this the wrong way but it is pure wishful thinking. It does feed the candida, it doesn't cleanse the liver and it doesn't act as a prebiotic.
