Gas is a good sign that things are getting stirred up and taken out. Until the gunk is all out you'l have gas, so keep getting colonics until the gas is gone.

You don't necessarily have to stir fry the veggies all the time, just steam it differently with less water and add in oil.

All nuts and seeds have protein, as do beans. See the Kichadi recipe. if you eat Kichadi you'll get plenty of protein in a way that is very healthy for the body. Any bean/rice dish will give you good protein. Broth too.

Chestnuts are just fiber, not much nutrients.
