the #1 best thing you can do for yourself to remain healthy is to not overeat. Eating very small meals of very nourishing whole foods 3 hours apart is a fantastic recipe for maintaining vital health. If you do that, you only have to cleanse a bit once or twice a year. It's overeating, especially overeating of the wrong things, that brings on degenerative diseases, including aging.

Most people have a very skewed idea of how much food they need, which is reinforced by the huge servings most restaurant chains offer. Most days I eat just one of those types of meals spread out during the day, for instance the side of grains is one meal, the sides of veggies is one meal, and the main protein is one meal.
