Hiya! :)

Electrolytes are crucial! They are the macro-minerals/salts that we have within each cell and outside of each cell. They are charged positive or negative so they can conduct electricity. Sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, are the main electrolytes. Without a healthy balance of electrolytes we simply cannot function.

The next lesson in the VitalHealth nutrition class on Yahoo Groups will be on minerals, including electrolytes (or I may separate those out actually) so be sure to check that out. :)
