I agree completely. Everyone is different. I do however feel a bloating feeling after almost every meal just after I eat. It paints a picture of my stomach struggling to digest the food that was just introduced. Before I would only take a small amount of HCL. I believe 100mg or so with Pepsin. I also tried Niacin. Flushed me and made me feel nautious but didnt seem to help my digestion although many doctors believe it is an integral part in treating low stomach acid production.
I am going the health food store tomorrow and supplement with HCL again. This time I will follow the proper protocal of increasing each meal until I feel stomach discomfort thus knowing my proper dosage.
As well. I read that if you take too much HCL and have stomach pain not to be alarmed as you can easily balance the acid with a small teaspoon of baking soda in water.
