Actually, you make excellent points (no hollaring necessary, lol). In fact, it is true - you cannot and should not totally eliminate candida. Your body needs it in correct proportions to survice. I also agree that once you have had an overgrowth, you are prone to it again. I don't have a goal of being able to eat the Standard American Diet again. I now prefer the candida diet to the way I used to eat before. I eat protein, fruits, veggies, yams, squashes, legumes. Like you, an occasional treat in the future would be more than fine. Why go back on a regular basis to something you know is unhealthy and helped get you ill in the first place? Sometimes I think the only people who DON'T have candida are just the ones who don't know it yet. :) :)
