I stated in the first line of the post that I am hypothyroid. The weight gain actually has come after I was diagnosed and was being treated with medication. There has been absolutely no improvement and actually worsening of all symptoms since being treated.

Not everything is cured by taking thyroid meds. There are thousands upon thousands of patients that remain symptomatic after starting thyroid mediacation therapies which is indicative of other issues.
