A guest brought 3 day old soup to our house, saying it had been frozen on Monday when he took it to work. I didn't think too much about it since not too much bothers me anymore in the way of foods. But this is another reason why I hang out here because once in awhile some weird thing happens. So I ate some of that soup Wedneday night for supper. It was chicken soup with carrots, celey, mushrooms (yeah, I know...mushrooms, even though those don't usually bother me).
By the time I went to bed that night my stomach was huge and somewhat painful, mostly huge. So not only that but it screwed up my digestion for anything I ate Thursday (yesterday). This morning I got up feeling like I was going to throw up. I'm still a little queasy and definitely tired, lethargic for the last 3 days and lots of belching.
I know a few people here were talking about bloating. I was fine until I ate "old" soup. Everyone else in the family ate it and had no problems. It looked and tasted fine but it wasn't ok for me. Sigh.... I just wanted to caution people about eating leftover soups. Maybe that clicks for someone here......
