HI! Well, I don't actually get pain and bloating from small amounts of food, but rather I seem to do better with smaller meals ( and I have lots of food intolerances as well ). I've been having a lot of probs. with my gallbladder and liver lately which I feel sure is related to my severe leaky gut. Do you take probiotics? Those have helped me a lot. It's very difficult to find a good quality one with enough bacterial count to do anything. I've been using one called Custom Probiotics ( http://www.customprobiotics.com ) for several months now which he guarantees to be 25 to 40 billion microorganisms per capsules. I stopped seeing loads of yeast "flakes" in my urine after using it for a while.

You could also try some cultured veggies- like sauerkraut ( it must be processed without heat though- very important! ). Unfortunately I don't tolerate those, but some people claim those really turned their digestion around :-).

You could also try some soothing teas with your meals that contain peppermint or ginger, things along those lines. I really feel most of these digestive illnesses nowadays are caused by insufficient good flora though. The problem is it's SO tough to re-establsih a good terrain once it's been destroyed! I think most of us here are dealing with that.
