Re: Candida's effect on intestine immune sytem -To javaman!
Candida can only be checked by our immune system when it has not outgrown.
Once outgrow in intestine, there will be difficulty in checking it, because it is always searching for
sugars. Either make them ineffective by starving them sugars at the initial stage.
candida can also take up residence in all those little nooks and crannies, and they are the hardest to eliminate.
Most people would not realise it until they feel that it has gone to a crucial stage, that is,
the fungal stage.
Even people who don't have sufficient knowledge will think it as mere constipation.
Eating too much junk food is one of the reasonns for developing candidiasis, but not the main reason.
The main reason is taking too much
Antibiotics , which eliminate the normal microflora of intestina that checks candida.
Yeast is bi-morphic. It can live in two different forms or state. "Yeast" is the first one having a single cell .
It attaches itself to the intestinal wall and when it is in fungal form try to bury itself deep into intestinal lining.
yeast is "asexual" , meaning it does not need a mate to reproduce. That describes how impeccable it can be when attacking intestine. it reproduce by budding, or grwowing bud.
As it grows it forms more branches, this is the way when candida appears in other form or state, which is "fungal".
In the yeast state, Candida is a non-invasive, sugar-fermenting organism, while in fungal state it is invasive and can produce rhizoids, very long root-like structures.
When in the fungal form it tries to bury itself deep into intestinal lining. It grows root (called rhoizoid)digging deep into the lining of intestinal tract looking for food.Leaky Gut Syndrome occurs when the wall of intestinal tract is damaged by theserhizoids. If food (sugar) is not checked at that moment and antifungal treatment is not given, it cab get so deep that it can go deep into the blood stream
-----------------------
What is hyphae?
Any of the threadlike filaments forming the mycelium of a fungus
What is mycellium?
The vegetative part of a fungus consisting of a mass of branching threadlike hyphae
What is rhizoid?
Rhizoids, in fungi, are small branching hyphae that grow downwards from the stolons
that anchor the fungus. They release digestive enzymes and absorb digested organic material.
-------------------
Candida fungi can not become airborne and therefore Candida can not be transmitted by air. Sexual intercourse, deep kissing and oral sex can transmit Candida to/from the genitals or mouth from one person to another. If the other person is healthy, his immune system will destroy Candida cells and prevent infection. However, if his immune system is impaired or he/she eat lots of
Sugar and carbohydrates then Candida can proliferate.
The more
Sugar you eat the more stronger the fungal bond become, and the more difficult it becomes to remove it.
Among the foods,
Sugar is the main culprit, while some fats also feeds candida. A low protein diet is also preffered in candidiasis.
