I *thought* I gave the recipe, that is, maybe- sort of, but if you google Raw Hummus, you'll find a few. I don't actually use recipes. I read a lot, just for pleasure, but when it comes to making, I just make by heart.
There isn't much to it though. Tahini; a few tablespoons, I'd guess. Some tamari, a little water, just enough liquid to help with the grinding, and lemon juice.
I didn't put garlic in the raw hummus, because the taste is so fresh and clean, I didn't want it. It's all 'add ingredients to taste'.
As for my hand blender -- it's the kind you put into soup or whatever. Dip and blend.
Easy to rinse and clean. I love it, but it was sorely tested with the raw chick peas.
That was the "hard going". For it I mean, not me. Normally, a food processor would be the easier thing, I'd think.
