Hi,
I was the one who mentioned how to sprout rice. I use a canning jar - quart size, wide mouth, with lids that are made for sprouting (they have holes in them - you can probably find them at your local healthy food store). I put a cup of organic brown rice in the jar and cover it with good water - fill until the water is about twice the height of the rice so the rice can expand and still be covered with water. Put a top with holes in it on the jar (holes smaller than the size of the rice) and let it sit upright for 24 hours. After 24 hours you can drain the water off, rinse the rice and drain and put the mason jar almost upside down. Rinse the rice three times a day. After 24 hours of this you should start to see little sprouts coming out of the rice.
