update
Hey Sharon, and fellow candida experts,
yeah things are going well with the candida. i cut short the second round of the paragone by about 5 days. I also did my second
Liver Flush and it was reasonably successful. I am starting to get the feeling that my body is returning to balance. For example, i'm sleeping a little better, i have slightly more energy, and i'm pretty optomistic and committed to the task of beating this thing, now that i have finally found out what i'm up against. I'm not really having as much trouble with the diet as i did in the begining, knowing that you can eat rice was a big help. I did lose an alarming amount of weight in the beginning, now its seems i've stabalized. I'm skin and bones though and my girlfriend is not too happy. I do run three times a week and i've found that really hot showers after seem to help the skin flush out toxins. I have also started to realize the symptoms of die off- actually today i had a pretty big victory in the bathroom (man - if you had told me a year ago that i would be discussing victories in the bathroom on a forum website, i would have found it rather amusing), in the form of a lot of candida with a BM. Like, i mean a lot- more than i've ever seen before. But now it's the afternoon and that feeling of tiredness and a bit of brain fog has returned, it comes and goes, but it always takes a bit of initiative away from whatever you're doing. Which sucks- but i guess its part of the deal. One thing i find that really helps me put things into perspective is the thought that i am taking action for my health, i'm not simply accepting what has been dealt to me, and i'm making the best of a bad situation, and learning a lot, both about myself and my body in the process. So thats where i stand. Sorry its been so long, how have you been? Are you on the diet?
Have you ever tried accupunture? I have been going to see a guy for about 2 weeks now- and it really seems to be helping- it takes a while, but really helps to relax me, i've found- and a chinese doc is a guy who understands candida and the stresses it places on the body. So, there 's some food for thought!
Take care and keep in touch,
Dave
